This Privacy Policy describes how Avalon Avatars ("we", "us", or "our") collects, uses, shares, and protects personal information when you use our mobile application "Avalon Avatars" (the "App"), available on the Google Play Store at https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.flowchatai.flowchatai. The App allows users to create customizable AI-powered bots (avatars), set custom prompts, names, and images, make them private or public, and interact with them or bots created by other users in a chat-like interface powered by neural networks.
By downloading, accessing, or using the App, you agree to the terms of this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the App. We may update this Policy from time to time; continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
Important Note: While we implement safeguards in the AI generation process to promote appropriate content (e.g., restrictions for audiences 12+), we cannot fully control or guarantee the output of user interactions with the AI, as users may attempt to circumvent these measures. We do not monitor individual chats in real-time and disclaim liability for any generated content that may be harmful, inappropriate, or inaccurate. For more on content guidelines and our limitations, please refer to our separate Terms of Service (available in the App or upon request). This Policy focuses on data privacy; it does not constitute legal advice on content liability.
1. Information We Collect
We collect the following types of information to provide and improve the App's functionality:
- Account Information: When you create an account using Google sign-in, we collect your name, email address, Google profile picture, and Google sub identifier (unique user ID). This is required for authentication and personalization.
- User-Generated Content: Data related to the AI bots (avatars) you create, including custom prompts, names, images, privacy settings (private/public), and chat messages exchanged with your bots or those of other users. These are stored on our servers to enable ongoing interactions and sharing (for public bots).
- Usage Data: Automatically collected information about your interactions with the App, such as features used (e.g., bot creation, chats), time spent, session details, device type, operating system, IP address, browser type, and unique device identifiers. This helps us analyze usage patterns and improve the App.
- Other Data: Any additional voluntary information, such as feedback, support requests, or analytics from integrated third-party tools (e.g., for crash reporting or performance monitoring).
We do not collect sensitive personal data (e.g., health, financial, or biometric information) unless explicitly provided in user-generated content, in which case it is treated with the same protections.
2. How We Collect Information
We collect information through:
- Directly from You: Via Google sign-in for account creation, or when you input data to create bots, customize prompts, upload images, or send chat messages.
- Automatically: Through your device and App interactions, using technologies like cookies, SDKs, or analytics tools (e.g., Google Firebase or similar). For example, we track bot interactions to ensure functionality.
- Third Parties: From Google (for sign-in data) or other integrated services (e.g., analytics providers) that help with App operations. If you interact with public bots from other users, their shared data (e.g., bot prompts) may be visible to you, but we do not collect additional data from those interactions beyond what's necessary for the chat.
3. How We Use Your Information
We use the collected information for legitimate purposes, including:
- Providing Core Services: To authenticate users via Google, create and manage AI bots, facilitate chats with neural network-powered responses, and enable sharing of public bots.
- Improving the App: Analyzing usage data and anonymized chat patterns to enhance AI performance, fix bugs, and develop new features. Note: We may use de-identified user-generated content (e.g., prompts and chats) to train or improve our AI models, but you can opt out by contacting us (see Section 8). We do not use personal identifiers for training.
